21 Georgia prep players selected in MLB Draft

Former Cross Creek catcher Luis Campusano was selected No. 39 overall by

the San Diego Padres in the June Major League Baseball Amateur Draft.


The Major League Baseball Amateur Draft was held in early June and 21 players were selected by various club's. The top high school player from the state selected was Valdosta pitcher DL Hall, who was taken in the first round by the Baltimore Orioles (21st overall).
