Baseball at Beach Tournament has openings

The long standing “Baseball At The Beach” High School Tournament is looking to fill a couple openings for its tournament this spring in beautiful and seasonably warm, Brunswick, Ga.  Teams can play in one of two weekends -- Feb 16-17 or Feb 23-24.  It is a good way to get in needed doubleheaders to get to the 30 game limit.

Both Glynn Academy and Brunswick High now have brand new baseball facilities, and historic Edo Miller Field also recently received a 50k facelift to its infield. All three top-notch facilities are now used for the tournament. There is NOT a tournament entry fee. Most teams use this weekend as a team-bonding experience staying on one of the beaches of the Golden Islands while playing quality non-region opponents.

Please contact Brunswick coach Brian Crawford at 912-294-0702 or Glynn Academy coach Trent Mongero at 770-561-9533 if you are interested in participating.

Here are the openings:

Weekend of Feb 16-17

Weekend of Feb 23/24

We still have openings for four teams to join who can play as many as three games in the two days.
