Collins Hill shortstop Nasim Nunez was taken in the second round by the

Miami Marlins in the Major League Baseball June Amateur Draft.


Georgia players taken in MLB Draft


Major League Baseball raided the state's for some of the nation's top baseball talent in the June Amateur Baseball Draft.

Two players were taken in the first round -- Blessed Trinity Catholic School's Blessed Trinity and Georgia Premier Academy pitcher Daniel Espino. Abrams was taken sixth overall by San Diego, while Espino was taken with the 24th overall pick by the Cleveland Indians.
